Think Outwardly

In the Body of Christ, many of us have a tendency to be focused upon our pain and situations. We are not aware of the many people around us who are suffering on a daily basis from spiritual, mental, physical, financial and other concerns of which we know nothing about. We do not have to know the intimate details of their situation in order to be effective in providing a shoulder to lean on or a hand to help them up out of their situation. We can be the missing piece of the puzzle that brings relief to their situation. The Bible teaches us to “bear ye one another’s burdens…” (Gal 6:2); therefore, if we are in tune with the Holy Spirit, we will be directed as to what needs to be done from our position of influence. We have to begin to look both inwardly and outwardly in order to be effective in advancing the principles of the Kingdom of God. Once we realize that it not just about us, and that God is a just God in that He is merciful to others outside of our sphere of influence as well, then we will be able to be the light and hope that others are in need of…#‎thinkonthesethings‬
