Understanding the will of God remains critically important and should remain our central focus if we intend to realize the plan of God in relation to making us into a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. We pursue millions of other things that the world has to offer, and simultaneously, our passion and zeal for seeking and pursuing God has greatly diminshed (Mt. 4:8-10; 6:32-34). We, in essence, have left our first love (Rev. 2:4). How do we return?
“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works…He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…” (2:5,7)
This applies to the contemporary church composed of the modern day believer as well. When we realign ourselves with the will of God, we will be able to begin to understand His vision for the church and her relationship to the rest of His creation. Reboot…and Refocus…#thinkonthesethings
