“I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust…” (Ps. 91:2).
In the midst of adversity, we must learn how to push through until the end. We know that this is life is certainly not without struggle, especially the life of a believer. We can rest assured that we are not without hope and that God will remain faithful and true to His Word (Phil. 1:6). And so we must comfort and encourage ourselves and others with these words. The Bible teaches us that “…iron sharpens iron…,” therefore, we must strengthen one another in the Lord (Prov. 27:17).
This is sometimes difficult and the enemy would have us to believe that it is sometimes impossible, but the God of our salvation has let us know that He has already made a way of escape (1 Cor. 10:13). He also comforts us with the knowledge of past victories and the assurance for both present and future security in our deliverance by the Strength and Power of His right hand (Ps. 91).
So take courage, my friends, God is always standing by…even when it does not feel like it…
