Questions Of Life And Purpose

“…for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ…So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God…” (Rom. 14:10, 12).

“I am feeling a shifting in the spiritual atmosphere and it is causing a reactionary shift in the natural atmosphere around me. The days are gone when I could put things off until another day. God is holding me personally accountable for each day that I allow to expire without fulfilling my purpose and destiny.”

Does this sound familiar? Many of us have been at this place in life. Some of us may be there at this present moment. How do we respond when God decides enough is enough, and He is no longer waiting on us to come to Him? How do we respond when He begins to make things uncomfortable in our lives to capture our attention? How do we respond when He tells us time is of the essence because the time is right and the harvest is ready to be received? Do we respond by beginning to prepare ourselves? Or do we continue to procrastinate? Or do we allow fear to continue to incapacitate us? What happens when our time on earth comes to an end and we have not fulfill His purpose and plan for our lives? What will our answer be when we stand before His throne? Who will we attempt to blame for the irresponsibility of our use of the life He has given us? Who will we find to blame for every opportunity that was missed because of our self-centeredness?

At some point, we will have to give an account for what we have and have not done with our time here on earth. What will you say?
