Words Of Encouragement (Weekend Edition)

Welcome to our weekly word of encouragement series. Each week, we will be presenting an encouraging scriptural verse for our readers. We believe this is one of our responsibilities of service as Christ's disciples.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye…” (Ps. 32:8).

Do we trust God to successfully guide us through our darkest roads ahead?

Some days seem hopeless. In other days, defeat seems certain. Our journey can be filled with dark clouds of mystery and cause us to doubt our purpose in life. But, nevertheless, God’s Word reassures us that regardless of the loss of one battle or the darkness that looms overhead, He will continue be with us. The light of God’s Word will continue to shine through our darkest nights ahead. He will continue to lead us to our destination. He will help us fulfill our purpose.

Remember, this journey began with faith and confidence in God’s ability to see and know all things, to be everywhere and to do anything. It is going to take the same level of faith and confidence to make it to the end. Keep your eyes focused above. That is where our help comes from. God’s watchful eye is always upon us. We need not fear nor be afraid of the the darkness. If we continue to listen intently to His voice, He will give us the direction we need and help us to successfully navigate the darkness and finish our life’s course (2 Tim. 4:7).
